Triple Dare

Poem, Silly 1 Minute

β€œDo you think,
I can kill your soldier,
Without even touching it?
Close your eyes”,

Boom,

β€œThat’s not fair!!
Muuuuuum!
He broke my favourite figure!
Tell him off!”,

β€œOh,
Speak to your Dad about it…”,

β€œRight,
I let you both live in this house,
Peacefully…
You, take your toys and go and play somewhere else.”,

β€œBut…
It took me aaaages,
To build that base!
There’s sixty pages of instructions!”,

β€œ…I hate you, bro,
If you don’t pack all your toys away,
And leave,
I’m going to get my water-bombs out again…”,

β€œDad! Did you hear that?
–I’ll…I’ll…
Well,
I’ll break all fifty-two of your toys!”,

β€œRight, that’s it,
Neither of you two are getting any toys for Christmas,
This is the end.”

I write poems which are mental health-themed, creative or humourous :). Within mental health I write a lot about: ADHD, OCD, anxiety, autism, emotional traumaβ€” usually with an optimistic slant.     1. Lol, stop WP stalking me πŸ˜….

      Well what a long story. I did! I fell asleep so easily, but then awake at 2 and mind was alert. Then I ended up getting inspired to start a new blog, and just couldn’t sleep for ideas. As soon as I got up I was working on it, and it went very well!

      I also then had an extremely busy day full of doing things with other people, which ended in my (lovely) friend inviting me to a crafts session this evening. And there was no way I could get through it without coffee, which I never normally drink. So… awake. Although I was literally just about to go to bed to try reading! Maybe I’ll read some more of your posts :D.

      Although you can clearly tell my mind is still very restless…

      2. Haha, no worries, I knew you were xD. But still, I do appreciate you asking about it! It does help me to imagine I have extra accountability for going to bed, to some extent.

        Yeah, I had a seriously good day actually! So, to be honest, I’m not being critical of myself for this one night/day. Needed that. I feel so much better honestly. I may as well use the energy to write more, or more piano :).

        Thank you for wondering about the lack of poems! I guess I was cheating on this blog, with another blog… :\.

        The new blog will be the more likely one I post on in busy days, as poems take a bit more thought :). This one just came when I least expected it and couldn’t resist haha. Alright, goodnight!
