Her Presence Is Real

She’s so worth it
Deserves everything
Everything good to happen

Shows so much courage
She keeps trying
In a relentlessly-hostile world;

I believe in good things
Good people
And good things happening

Somehow, somewhen
Longer-term
Things can change;

She has the honesty
Is rightfully indignant
Knowing the truth within herself

Many qualities which give me hope.

I write poems which are mental health-themed, creative or humourous :). Within mental health I write a lot about: ADHD, OCD, anxiety, autism, emotional traumaβ€” usually with an optimistic slant.
