Transparency, Objectivity, Clarity

I’m going to say
I’m not minimising something
When it’s the entire point of my speech

I’m going to use verbs
With cult-like associations
To add fake authority to my words

I’m going to pretend
That a different version of objective reality
Is true;

I don’t need a translator, or education in body language, or even wisdom and experience to understand any of that
Because it’s so ridiculously obvious
And always has been;

I’m just surprised how often I see it, at all scales.

Can you imagine how difficult that makes it to live in the human world? I hope so.
