If my blog was named anything other thanβ¦
Tornado Of Chaos
β¦then it wouldn’t be named appropriately;
An email identical to the one from last Tuesday, from the letting agent:

The absolute cheek of it. Last Thursday I spoke with the Samaritans people who were so helpful and agreed that I wouldn’t have any further interactions with the letting agent without them present. They took away a copy of my incident log to go through it in detail before contacting the letting agent.
This morning I also had an email from the council saying that Simon from the Samaritans was going to phone the letting agent today. I tried to get an update before the end of the day, given the imminent threat of more intrusion from the letting agent tomorrow!
I can barely even get started working with the Samaritans and the letting agent just keeps persisting, before we’re ready to deal with it so I can avoid the stress. Anyways, I’ve barricaded the door again and planning to sleep through it with ear plugs and defenders :). I also have a second security camera which monitors out my window to the front of the houseβ¦to give early warning of letting agents and so that I know when they’ve left, instead of hiding in my room for hours afterwards. And thank god I did buy that second camera, becauseβ¦
(The image quality of this camera is a bit lower, plus it’s looking through a double-glazed window with trapped condensationβ¦but actually it helps to blur out the people).
When I heard this knocking on the window my initial reaction was to freeze and ignore it, of courseβ because of the letting agent harassment! Then there was heavy banging on the door and I grabbed my phone to start recording on the internal camera before realising I could use the outdoor camera to see who it was (which had already picked up the human figures and started recording). I saw it was a bunch of policeman, popped my head through the window then went to let them in.
Thankfully they weren’t asking for me but urgently wanted to know if I’d seen anyone come into the houseβ there was a fugitive ‘garden-hopping’ and going into houses to evade the police! I said I had no idea and I’d been in my room, and they asked for ID so they could rule me out. Then they began running around the house checking rooms, whilst I walked out the front and spoke to the female officer. I started boasting about my new camera there saying I could check it for useful footage if they neededβ¦π.
Shortly after that I was back in my room when I heard all the police stampede out again in a hurry, and they went to another house. A helicopter hovered overhead for a bit.
Then 30 mins after that I went out to try and get some sunshineβ the entire weekend was a washout and I’ve barely had any sunlight in ages because whenever it’s sunny there’s a million things happening. But my street was taped off at both ends! I decided to avoid the hassle and stayed inβ¦
