I think the government are doing the right thing in trying to restrict people from socialising like idiots en masse and wthout masks, while trying to keep businesses open, but yet again, unfortunately, people have proven that they can’t be trusted and they act like idiots.
It sometimes makes me wonder if the himan race is worth saving!

Haha, oh yeah I agree. Make stuff illegal, bring it on! It’s a ridiculous situation where the country is held hostage by idiots, basically. I mean the damage they are doing is incredible.
The logic from the beginning always frustrated me because obviously we’re going to need to be locked down until there’s a vaccine but nobody was talking about that. Other places can manage to live pretty normally because people take more collective responsibility, but that’s impossible here. Nothing has been a surprise, just annoyingly inevitable π.
So yeah, make stuff illegal, annoy the idiots, it could be faintly satisfying to watch!
No, definitely not worth saving.

I mean it could be much worseβ the death rate of the virus could be higher, as with the original SARS outbreak, and affect more of the population in a serious way. Although ironically that might result in less deaths overall. A sharper spike initially, but would be taken more seriously.
Oh well, there’s always the next pandemic π.

What I meant to say here was that we got off lightly with having a good opportunity to still live well whilst restricting the spread of virus and deaths, yet it was all squandered.

To be honest it feels like a lot of people are living life like in the ‘end times’β in their minds beyond the point of no return and so going out with one last big, indulgent burn of resources.
