Ladies and gentlemen,
Boys and girls…
Monsters,
And,
Zombies!

Okayβ€”
There are zero of those in the first two categories present here…
We have only… monsters,
And,
Zombiess!!!

What do we have…?

…

Well!?
Come on!

M–m–m-m…

Spit it out, spit it out!
We haven’t got all day,
We’ve around ten minutes, in fact,
Before my next appointment!
What are we…??

M-m-monsters!

And…?

Z-z-z-z-zombies!

Yes!
And what happens to zombies when the dawn breaks…?

…

They fucking die!
To death!
Yes!

Luckily,
I’ve some bodybags for you zombies to climb into,
So that you can escape your unfortunate fates,
(And walk right into another one);

Now,
There are four body bags in different colours…
Arranged in order of the painfulness of their respective soon-to-be occupants’ deathsβ€”

…

…Oh, come on,
That’s defeating the purpose, now,
Fighting to the deaths over a body bag!

…Four zombies, one body bag,
LOL!

Oh, as a small bonusβ€”
They were actually arranged in descending order! πŸ˜‚

I write poems which are mental health-themed, creative or humourous :). Within mental health I write a lot about: ADHD, OCD, anxiety, autism, emotional traumaβ€” usually with an optimistic slant.     1. Hahaha, are you suggesting I’ve lost mine? (I have by the way, but the antidepressants dosage has just been increased too).

      In the meantime I’ve prescribed dark fiction for myself. Body bags aren’t optional!

      2. Yup! I just see it as an emergency option, though, to get me through this temporary accommodation situation. I resisted, saying I don’t like just covering over environmental issues with medication, but they were persuasive and I had some level of trust in them having seen this person twice, so I decided to give it a go.

        I haven’t even been in the mood to write anything creative lately.

      3. I took numerous meds for bipolar disorder and all had negative effects of varying degrees. The last one, Lithium, sent me to the hospital where I was in and out of consciousness and required dialysis to recover. Dropped the meds, the doctors, and decided there must be a better way!

      4. That sounds terrible! Sorry to hear that. The history of psychiatric drugs does sound horrific, and I met somebody who had a bad experience taking them from early 2000s onwards.

        I wouldn’t use them either if I had obvious side-effects. Luckily I don’t have any with Sertraline, and the standard of medication seems like it has improved a lot over the last 10-20 years.
