Acidalia Planitia

A fountain of feeling,
And knowing sensitivity,
Coming down for a soft landing,
With the lightest of touches,

I’m here for exploration,
Graceful, yet bold,
As the features, before me,
Are familiar yet surprising;

It’s a subtle and dangerous game,
Of experience and insight,
Following deepest intuitions,
To feel our way through;

An atmosphere that is rich with mystery,
A restless surface, which swelters and shudders,

Anticipation dances over soft horizons,
And light glimmers within those depthless oceans;

A storm is upon us,
But we’re locked in tight,
With energies rising,
We eagerly await,

Sharing in the joy,
Which eclipses everything,
As the night sky is lit…
In the most beautiful aurora.

      1. I was in bed all day feeling quite ill
        hoping so much I don’t have COVID-19
        as for that there is no fix-it pill . LOL
        I really don’t think I have it as I have not been anywhere in 4 weeks except for walking Hank.

        Always a joy to leave a comment!
