Piss Off

My housemates have been cleaner,
Which is all well and good,

But there’s still the guy who pisses all over the toilet seat (and the floor),
No matter how recently I’ve cleaned it.

Darkened black and white photo, looking from behind a little wooden mannequin standing over a toilet seat, in urinating position.

  1. Certain things can never be changed, We can either run from it, or learn from it, or change it. I’m sure you can’t change that thing πŸ˜‰ Look Positively πŸ™‚

      1. If you are a bachelor, Run from it, get your own place, do what you like, live as you like πŸ˜‰ Why live somewhere you don’t like πŸ™‚

      2. Oh don’t worry, that’s my plan! :).

I’ve been working to improve many areas of my life for the last 2 years. That’s a long story, but believe that I’m working on all of these things, and that’s the goal!

I’d never complain about something but not work to change it πŸ™‚

      3. Perhaps some of what I write makes more sense, knowing that? Lol. Otherwise some things would have come off sounding crazy?

      4. Haha! πŸ˜†. That’s funny. Just check my ‘categories’ selector for all of the conditions which I think I may have lol.

    1. There’s no way I can look positively at this thing, but writing about it is a positive thing which I do in reaction to itβ€” positive because it helps me to feel better without hurting anyone.

      1. It’s just a release valve, not even necessarily judging the person who did it (though I do happen to be internally!).

      2. Just let it out somewhere you feel comfortable, be it blogging, or to a friend or to a stranger. If that helps, Don’t wait, Do it! And you are doing it now πŸ˜‰ I was not aware you have OCD.

      3. Thanks πŸ™‚, indeed! Haha.

Yes I do seem to have OCD! (I realised a year ago this month actually). Do you?

      4. I should say, I am organized, and neat. i won’t say I have OCD. If you have asked me at age of 15 yes I think I had, because I was so obsessed about cleaning. Now, No man, I have other priorities. πŸ™‚ Plus I live alone with my wife, so we both just naturally keep it clean. πŸ™‚

      5. Yes, there can be a fine line sometimes between just being tidy and neat, and it getting to the point of OCD. I think it’s definitely possible for an inclination to be clean to turn into an obsession under certain circumstances/conditions. And obsessions can come and go.

When I have had the chance to live on my own, the best way to avoid cleaning becoming obssessive was to decide on a schedule to do it by, in my head. Otherwise there was that danger, since I was in total control of my environment!

      6. When I was 15 or so I was obssessed about creases in my clothes, or anything I spilled on them. Also the state of my hair. It was crazy, I would take my t shirt off and iron it to remove creases. And sitting in cars made me uncomfortable, knowing that my t shirt was being creased.

      7. That’s some serious obsession, but as you previously mentioned, you just got to make it as a standard schedule.πŸ˜‰ That’ll help. And when you have other priorities these kind of obsessions will disappear eventually. I’m right now obsessed with fitness and dietπŸ™„ . See, everyone is obsessed with something. It’s just we created. We can change it anytime πŸ˜‰

    1. Thank you!! I will πŸ™‚. You were checking out my strange conversation with Simon? Lol. I imagine that the screen reader makes some things sound more humourous sometimes?

That housemate was away for a month until a few days ago, so there was a nice break from it! Also nobody washes their hands in the bathroomβ€” the soap only goes down when I use it. Facepalm.

      2. Oh, sorry, you might’ve misunderstood what I meant. I was just joking that you might have read my conversation with Simon in the comments, where I was talking about needing to let things out in blogging. But I also understood that might not be the case, and indeed, you understand what I’m doing because you’ve been following my blog :). Does that make sense? Haha.

      3. Great, thanks for the encouragement, I definitely will!

By the way, I had a photo in that post too. I’ve just added the following caption: Darkened black and white photo, looking from behind a little wooden mannequin standing over a toilet seat, in urinating position.

      4. Hahaha! You’re welcome. Actually, screen readers should read out the “alt” text of an image, if it has been specified. I just discovered how to set that text in WordPress.I was trying to test it using VoiceOver on my iphone, but I’m struggling to get it to read out the text. Can I askβ€” are you using the WordPress app, or viewing WordPress in a web browser?

      5. Could you check if it now reads out the text for the image?

They’re the sort of person who’s unable to understand such things. And I hate confrontation 😨.

      Thanks for the moral support!

      2. To be honest the problem is with standing-up peeing. There’s no way to do it cleanly. It should just be banned! But people cling to it dogmatically without questioning it 😨. This guy also leaves the seat down though as he’s doing it, so he’s an extra level of what-the-fuck.
