The Great Levelling

Joy of joys,
The curves are flattening,
Bending to our will!

Patience, patience,
And the peoples’ discipline,
Are starting to look rewarded!

(Sorry if you live in USA).

    1. It definitely is in a few countries πŸ™‚. These are all countries where the Daily New Cases number has been decreasing for 4 days or more in a row:

      UK,
      Italy,
      Spain,
      Germany,
      Switzerland,
      Netherlands.

Italy is one of the fasted-decreasing.

      1. Oh God is this really true? I do hope so. We need this hope. Are you alone or do you have family? We are alone and struggling.

      2. It is! It’s well known now that Italy’s infection rates are slowing well, and their death rates are starting to come down too. In another 1 to 2 weeks their death rate will really start decreasing.

I am checking the website worldometers.info, each day. It’s a reliable source of data.

I live in a shared house with 4 other people, but I don’t have much contact with them and try to avoid them as much as possibleβ€” they are messy people and I’m currently in communication with my council housing support person about getting moved out of here!

I have a car and can get to shops when I need to, but all of my social contact is coming through WordPress and WhatsApp.

I’m really sorry to hear that you’re struggling so much. Are you OK for supplies until your shopping delivery? Do you have much contact with friends over the phone?

      4. Sorry to hear that. Yeah, that’s really difficult when you’ve just moved to a place. Wow that’s really bad timing to have all this social isolation then!

Yeah, it’s not great at all, my housemates and the mess do get me down. It’s a bigger problem and stress than the coronavirus situation. But, I feel better having a potential way out of it! Thanks.

Yeah I’m in good health. Physically my main issue is mobility problems, as I have severe arthritis in my right knee, and some in my left knee, so I can’t go out for walks or anything to break the monotony. My car is a lifesaver. I’m only going out in my car to go to the supermarket 1-2 times a week. My life is wordpress now! πŸ˜†. It’s good company!

  1. This is good news Robin but sadly the US far from leveling!
It’s a great tragedy what is happening over here!
Every state must be put on lock-down in order to get ahead of this virus.
Maybe clear heads will prevail and do what is needed to be done to save the people,

      1. πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚. Wonder what they have in mind right nowπŸ€” Where are the earthlings, did they use too much toilet paper and wiped out themselves πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚
