Deafening…

I bought an ear-syringe,
—My ears have been blocked for years…

It’s a slow process,
Getting them cleared,

—But my god,
My bad ear,
Which I’ve partially cleared…

Those cars going past— that I’ve been complaining about?
Getting angry at?

They’ve been replaced by dragons,
This world is terrifying;

The point of clearing them (because with misophonia I need a damned good reason),
Is that once they are clear,
—I can use ear plugs, again,
Which will hopefully be better…

I find it funny,
Just how long they’ve been blocked,
—I hadn’t even noticed,
(Because I’m that hyper-sensitive?);

So dig me up in a thousand years,
Because I’m sporadically being inundated…
In pyroclastic flows.
