Appreciation #7 🙏

I like these poems,
—Because I usually begin,
With no inspiration,

But with a topic to start with,
It quickly starts flowing,
My mind, the creative,
Is unconsciously rhyming 🤷‍♂️;

I used to hate emojis,
Particularly over-use of them,
But, since I’m often complaining,
About restrictions of text,
I’ve found their implementation,
To dramatically help with subtext 😉,

So, yes,
I love and I hate to say it,
But I appreciate emojis,
In their wonderful diversity,
(Though definitely not the movie)
🤮;

I appreciate this poem series,
(Oh, this is getting meta,
I love it!),
And I’m allowed to say that,
And to break the rules,
Because there are no rules,
And this is my writing 😂;

I appreciate my cynicism,
And love of the silly,
Even made inroads,
Into poor old OCD/
Because they have brought me far,
Isn’t that obvious to see? 🤣
