What’s satisfying,
Is that my most impassioned poems,
Come at the ends of the longest periods of frustration,
βThe times that were,
The very most trying;
These are the most natural,
Of all of the poems,
βEven rhyming,
Comes so much more easily;
Funny, isn’t it?
How the anger and the pain,
And the terrible great need for expression…
βThey naturally result,
In beautiful works of art.

I write poems which are mental health-themed, creative or humourous :).
Within mental health I write a lot about: ADHD, OCD, anxiety, autism, emotional traumaβ usually with an optimistic slant.
My goals for my blog are to give myself a therapeutic, creative outlet whilst also being able to connect with and relate to other people.

That’s the definition of art, isn’t it? Simply expression of emotion π. That’s all.
Apart from modern artβ that’s just expression of egos π.
