My last thought of the dayβ
Conversation of adversity;
For I theorise a personal law,
Which states, simply:
“For every good fortune,
There is an equal and opposite,
Misfortune”;
What does this mean,
In practice?
It means,
That today was not all rosy,
Because there’s also something a bit nastyβ
Confirmation,
That I’ll have to pay,
For a parking ticket each day…
For at least another week;
From previous experience, updating my license,
Takes at best a week,
And typically two,
Then I better hope,
That the permit is quick,
But one thing’s for sure,
I am in some s**t;
Β£25 a day,
And best case a week,
25 * 7…
Is 175 quid;
Probably Β£250,
When all is said and done,
βDo you still reckon now,
I should forgive myself and move on?
But let’s be realistic,
For a minute,
This time last year,
I was suicidal and alone,
And if you’d asked me then
βI’d say “YES!”,
Yes I would,
Trade places in a heartbeat…
Complicating thingsβ
The arthritis means,
I can’t just park round the corner,
In the pay-as-you-go spaces…
And thus,
The mingling of co-morbid diseases,
Does complicate things,
Exponentially.

Robin, you are strong and have overcome much!
Remember, the strong survive!
Never give up!
Sometimes when people are hurting, I wish I could make it better but that is not in my power but know I am always rooting for you! π

In this case, anyway π since all I can do right now is be at peace with everything, and I’m otherwise healthy :).

Without peace, we cannot survive this somewhat cruel world.
It is essential to our survival.

I think I understand your theory
if we put it in another context
like the law of reaping and sowing
when we are reaping the contents
there are some damaged goods
in all the reap if what we’re seeing
is not equivalent or comparable
with what we’re losing by working,
we can say it has been profitable.
