Holy Vegetables

For increased mood,
I cannot recommend it enoughβ€”

Eat vegetables,
Lots of vegetables,
Keep eating vegetables!

Make carrot and onion soup,
Make potato and leek soup,
Make potato, carrot and onion soup,
Then make a mushroom soup;

Make satay sweet potato curry,
And mix in a bag of spinach,
Make vegan chickpea curry,
And serve it on jacket potato;

Buy a big bunch of bananas,
––Turn them into banana bread,
Buy pears, oranges and goodness knows what else,
And eat those when you’ve got nothing else;

Eat vegetables,
Eat vegetables,
Eat vegetables,
And you’ll quickly see the benefits!

Eat vegetables!

And if you don’t believe me.

  1. Sounds like a perfect menu for today!
    Homemade soups and banana bread.
    Set me a place at your table, please!

    Nice poem, Robin.
    I am actually heading to the store soon to buy some fruits and veggies. πŸ™‚

    1. Haha! I wasn’t actually planning on it all for today, but I could! I’m planning to cook soon :). Bananas aren’t brown enough yet though!

      Nice! Remember to go for maximum colours :D.

      Thank you!

      1. Oh, I see πŸ™‚
        Another day, then!
        I make a good banana bread, one of my favorite recipes from my mom.
        Banana bread is easy to make but my mom added a few extra spices and it’s perfect to me πŸ™‚

      2. Cool! I only just started making it a few weeks ago :). I have a great tin for it now.

        I was thinking of adding extra spices! I can imagine that would be nice. I also added sultanas and mixed nuts–– when you get a walnut it’s amazing :D.
